Information for women for informed consent

Information sheets for women (to facilitate informed consent by women)

The information sheet attached to the Cervical Screening Form explains cervical screening and the screening test process and why a woman's consent is needed. This consent allows CervicalCheck to receive, hold and use a woman’s personal details, information about her screening test sample,  past screening test results and colposcopy results. The information sheet is available in 13 languages (below). The information sheet is also available in Braille upon request (contact by email or telephone 061 406500).

Information leaflets and posters

CervicalCheck produces a range of information leaflets for women. The leaflets describe cervical screening and the CervicalCheck programme, the screening test, screening test results, and colposcopy.
