HPV Cervical Screening e-learning module now available

(14 Feb 2020)

The e-learning module HPV Cervical Screening is now available on nssresources.ie. It is intended primarily for doctors and nurses who take cervical screening tests.

The aim of this module is to increase sampletakers' knowledge of the new changes to screening strategies in CervicalCheck.

On completion of the module you should have an awareness and understanding of the:

  • rationale for change to HPV cervical screening
  • impact of the changes in practice
  • key messages to keep women informed and engaged
  • resources available to the sampletakers to help manage the changes

Within the module there are instructional videos that demonstrate best practice in a HPV cervical screening consultation.

There are also links to all relevant HPV cervical screening resources and documentation in one, easy-to-access place at the end of the course.
