The Smeartaker Training Unit (STU) is facilitating a round of Essential Knowledge Updates for administration personnel in primary care, Family Planning and Well Woman Clinics.

The CervicalCheck advertising creative has won a bronze award at the Irish Advertising Practitioners of Ireland (IAPI) Advertising Effectiveness Awards. CervicalCheck was one of six finalists (of 100 submissions) to be shortlisted in the category of Public Service, Social Welfare and Education.

The National Cancer Screening Service (NCSS) has developed a suite of CervicalCheck information materials for women in Braille and audio format. The two most commonly requested leaflets ‘About your free smear test’ and ‘About your smear test results’ have been translated into Braille and audio format.
