CervicalCheck Today Moves to Screening by Invitation
In line with best international practice, CervicalCheck – The National Cervical Screening Programme is today moving to an organised call, re-call and opt-in method of invitation to maximise uptake among eligible women aged 25 to 60. CervicalCheck has a register of eligible women and over the next three year screening round, will send eligible women nationwide an invitation for their free smear test by post.

CervicalCheck Programme Moves to Population-based Screening by Invitation
The National Cancer Screening Service (NCSS) has today announced that following 12 months of operation on an open access system of screening, Cervical Check – The National Cervical Screening Programme will move to organised, population-based screening by invitation, for women aged 25 to 60.
