The woman and her GP both receive a results letter from the colposcopy clinic after a Lletz procedure. This letter should indicate her results and follow-up.
The discharge advice for a low- grade abnormality CIN I diagnosed in Colposcopy is a
screening test in 12 months in Primary Care. If the first test taken in primary care is HPV negative, the patient will be recalled for their next test in primary care in 3 years, regardless of age.

The woman will be invited for a -HPV Test of Cure Screening test performed in Colposcopy Clinic 6-9 months post Treatment. If this test has a HPV negative result, she will be discharged for a screening test in Primary Care in 3 years regardless of age.

Following two negative HPV tests of cure results in colposcopy, the patient will be discharged to annual screening for 10 years in primary care.
