Sampletaking and seasonal post

(14 Dec 2021)

To ensure we can process your patient’s sample in a timely manner over the Christmas period, we are asking you to:

  • Post December cervical screening samples by Friday December 17
  • Limit taking cervical screening samples between December 17 and 27
  • Ensure sample vial has at least 42 days before expiry date
  • Resume normal screening from 27 December 2021.

This is to ensure sample delivery is not affected by the increased seasonal pressures on An Post.
