Primary Care Self Audit Tool

CervicalCheck has developed a Primary Care Self Audit tool to support smeartakers in Primary Care. It has been developed to facilitate smeartakers to carry out a clinical audit that aims to ensure effective assessment and compliance with the 'Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Cervical Screening - Primary Care'.

The second edition of the NCSS Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Cervical Screening has been released.

CervicalCheck has implemented an enhanced search-and-display facility on its website - CervicalCheck – Where can I have a test? - to assist women searching for a registered smeartaker in order to participate in the programme.

Expansion of HPV testing in colposcopy

HPV testing has now been expanded in colposcopy services to assist in the management of women with low grade cytological abnormalities.

eLearning portal – Cervix Image Library

The e-learning portal has added a Cervix Image Library to the online learning resources. The resource offers an interactive image library of the common features and conditions of the cervix seen during smeartaking.
